Furuichi tried not to be too surprised that the whole ‘Beel interrupting sex’ thing was actually bothering Oga. It was hardly the first time Beel’s interrupted an attempt.
“I heard there’s a Riceboy special coming out soon,” Furuichi said, in an attempt to lighten the mood. ”Maybe Beel would be okay with ignoring you for an hour watching that.”
Oga glanced at him. Gave him a measuring stare. Then looked away.

Can I just say I love these 2 panels. I love how possessive Oga’s being. I love that he flashes his homemade trading card as proof of ownership or whatever.
Oga, who’s only ever had Furuichi as a friend has started seeing the gang as HIS.

Though he looked ridiculously please with himself last week when Hilda was explaining about allegiance lol.
And you must contrast this to how he didn’t really care about how he didn’t care he had the ‘leader of the school’ status at all (before he blew it up). This gang is actually full of people he cares about. :3
Am I the only one that thinks Himekawa might actually be telling the truth?
I think he’s probably telling the truth. And I love it that because he said it so openly in front of the other members, that it’s impossible to tell whether he was telling the truth or not. Hahaha, he has shot right up there into my top 5, when he wasn’t even making top 10 before.
- So, as you can see, he’s a total fool. But when it comes to his boys, he’ll go all out for them.
A lovely summary of Oga’s virues.
Though he’s not THAT much of a fool (well, compared to some other shounen manga main characters), so I can’t help but think that Himekawa is just saying that to get the other gang’s guard down.
Though it is still perfectly possible that Himekawa perceives Oga as a fool, he does perceive most people as fools anyway.

Was a bit surprised at first that it referred Furuichi as the manga’s glue (those taglines are usually added in by the editors rather than the manga artist), but now that I think about it, the group would not actually be hanging out so much if Furuichi didn’t round them all up in the attempt to find En…so he did technically initiate it.
I love how they used such a stupid picture for Furuichi too! Ahahahaha!!!

After Tojo, now they’re targeting Bakaichi? o.O No way.
Well, like most fans have mentioned, it’s a bit of a miracle that Furuichi haven’t been properly targetted in the series yet. I mean, this was mostly due to various presumptions of his strength so far, and how Himekawa is one of the few delinquents who actually uses the hostage card properly.
